Release Elements

From the ‘Faszination Sport’ series of collages gleaned from the 1977 German publication of the same name.

‘Release Elements’ depicts Lothar Thoms, an East German track cyclist participating in the Individual Pursuit (4,000 metres). The reverse image shows various cyclists from the Men's Individual Road Race. Both images are from the 1976 Olympics, held in Montreal, Canada.

Expertly printed using archival-quality inks on museum-quality uncoated paper stock with alkaline papermaking technology to ensure long-lasting quality and clarity. The paper is acid-free and buffered with an alkaline reserve to neutralize acid compounds absorbed from the atmosphere or formed through natural aging to avoid any yellowing or discoloration. The poster is free from OBA (optical brightener additives) to guarantee that the natural white color of the paper remains consistent under different lighting conditions. FSC® certified materials support a circular economy by promoting responsible forestry practices and reducing deforestation.

The optional premium wooden frame is milled from responsibly sourced pine in a robust 20mm (0.79”) thickness and width and features protective shatterproof plexiglass.
